We were commissioned by the London Development Agency to assess the potential of a small railway attraction in Southall, West London. The Great Western Rail Preservation Group has a small depot where it restores locomotives and has a small visitor centre. We assessed the feasibility of expanding the visitor element of the site, talking to the local authorities, LDA, Network Rail and the group itself, as well as investigating comparator attractions in the UK.
