Hotels and biodiversity
Client: IUCN
Date: 2011
The Tourism Company was commissioned by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature to input to an international project aimed at assisting key players in the hotel sector to make decisions that will contribute to the conservation of biodiversity in the insular Caribbean. The work involved the identification of case studies of hotels in coastal locations around the world whose development illustrates good practice in location, design and other factors, according to six principles set out by IUCN.
