Launch of North Wales Tourism Strategy, prepared by The Tourism Company

The Tourism Partnership North Wales has launched its new tourism strategy for the region.  The strategy, prepared by The Tourism Company in 2009, sets out a way forward for the important sector, which contributes 37,000 jobs and £1.8 billion to the local economy.  The strategy identifies four priorities for the industry:

  • projecting the distinctive strengths of the region
  • investing in product excellence
  • providing an outstanding experience
  • working together in partnership
