    Dartmoor Information Centres User and Non-User Research

    Client: Dartmoor National Park Authority (DNPA)
    Date: 2012
    We were commissioned by Dartmoor National Park Authority (DNPA) to undertake a research study amongst users and non-users of the National Park’s three Information Centres;

  • Haytor Visitor Information Centre

  • High Moorland Visitor Centre in Princetown

  • Postbridge Visitor Information Centre
  • The main purpose of the research was to provide a set of robust evidence to inform the National Park Authority in considering the performance and the future development and focus of the Information Centres. A total of 402 users were interviewed face-to-face within the three Information Centres whilst 447 non-user surveys were conducted in nine locations across the National Park.

    As well as presenting the results of the research we also used the information to draw together conclusions and highlight some of the implications for DNPA in defining the scope and objectives of the Information Centres.
