Visit England Corporate Website Usability Testing

We were commissioned by Visit England to undertake a programme of usability testing of the Insights and Statistics section of the ‘in-development’ Visit England corporate website. Staff at Visit England wanted to know whether the Insights and Statistics section of the website would work well for a range of users.
To do this, we tested the website with a mixture of heavy, light and medium users of tourism statistics. Each participant was set a number of tasks which required them to try and find a range of statistical information using the Insights and Statistics pages of the website. The results of the testing were used by Visit England to ‘tweak’ the proto-type website.
