Market Review of Sports and Health Tourism in the South East Resorts

The background to this study involved a market review of this diverse product area and preparation of over 20 case studies from the UK and North Europe. Sports tourism audits (venues, events and marketing initiatives) were undertaken in the eight participating resorts and action plans prepared for each along with generic lessons and considerations for further action at a regional level. This report formed the basis for a successful INTEREG grant application to the EU.
