This very attractive and distinctively 'Caymanian' part of the island has been relatively untouched by new tourism development and the community is keen to see carefully managed and sustainable development that reflects local needs and supports local aspirations. We prepared a strategy that involved identifying a goal, vision and objectives based on identified needs, market opportunities and the local sustainability agenda with an actions related to raising awareness of the area and local opportunities, sustainable tourism and community development opportunities, support for local businesses and procedures for managing and monitoring development.
