Kent Visiting Friends and Relatives (VFR) Research Study

Almost a fifth of Kent’s staying visitors (19%) are people who are visiting friends or family. We were commissioned by Visit Kent to undertake a programme of research that would provide insights into this valuable market. Our job was to glean what we can about the market from existing research and also oversee a programme of primary research. The primary research included online surveys amongst;

 - People who have previously visited Kent in order to visit friends or family
 - Those living in Kent that have hosted a VFR visit

The research was conducted between December 2010 and March 2011
