Walking Tours Feasibility & Business Planning

We were commissioned by London-based arts organisation Motiroti to help them progress their ambitious plans to ‘re-invent the walking tour concept’. Motiroti intends to create a series of artist-led tours of London which will throw new light on the City and the diverse cultures that make it what it is. The tours will be a world away from staid walking tours that currently dominate the guided walks market in the Capital. Instead of passively absorbing facts, those on Motiroti’s tours will be part of first hand experiences - this might be a chance to taste authentic foods or get involved in artist-led activities. When Motiroti came to us, they knew they needed assistance across a number of fronts including business planning, market research and marketing. We worked with Motiroti to decide upon the best way to assist them within their budget. The solution we came up was to hold a one day workshop with staff from Motiroti based on some background research on the topic by ourselves. This proved the most cost effective way to provide tailored advice.
