Sustainable Tourism in Estuary Parks (STEP)
The Broads - Britain's Magical Waterland
Client: Broads Authority on behalf of STEP partners
Date: 2011, ongoing
We worked for partners involved with the Sustainable Tourism in Estuary Parks (STEP) programme, sharing information on making tourism businesses more sustainable and promoting engagement with the protected areas in which they are located. The work built on the successful track record of the Broads Authority in working with the business community, interpreting their experience in ways which are appropriate to, and therefore likely to be successful for, partner areas in the Biesbosch (Netherlands) and the Polders of Kruibeke (Flanders). The STEP programme was part-financed by the ERDF programme INTERREG IVA 2 Seas Programme.
